Hays has partnered with a well-established, community-driven organisation is looking for a strategic HR Business Partner to guide people initiatives and support leadership.
About your role
This role focuses on aligning HR with business objectives, enhancing performance, and fostering a vibrant, engaged workplace culture.
As a key member of the team, the responsibilities and duties of this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Strategic HR Alignment Drive HR initiatives that support business goals, workforce planning, and the People & Culture Strategy.
- Performance & Engagement Coach managers to enhance employee performance, development, and workplace culture.
- Compliance & Advisory Provide expert guidance on HR policies, industrial relations, and employment legislation to ensure ethical practices.
- Talent & Projects Lead recruitment efforts and contribute to key HR projects including diversity, inclusion, and organisational change.
- Workplace Safety Promote WHS compliance, emergency preparedness, and incident reporting, including Fire Warden duties.
What you need
- Degree in HR Management with broad generalist experience
- Skilled in recruitment, performance, and employee relations
- Strong industrial relations knowledge and investigation expertise
- Excellent communicator with proven multitasking ability
- Professional, discreet, and team-oriented with a positive mindset
